What was your inspiration for becoming a yoga teacher?

I discovered Yoga in 2004 and deepened my practice when I moved to Australia in 2015. Following a career as an actor, I had always practiced connecting mind and body. Following my move to Sydney, I was inspired to further develop my passion and share the love of Yoga to my community.

As a teacher, I am dedicated to the practice of Yoga in all ways and assisting students in making discoveries on and off the mat, living holistically, reconnecting to themself to continue evolving.

Your favourite yoga pose if you have one?

Tough question, but I always love working deep in the hips and backbends, as well as arm balances.

What do you enjoy most about teaching?

To share what I love most, the full spectrum practice. Teaching the physical practice to go beyond the asana in a way that is accessible, fun and safe for all yogis to dig deeper and take their practice outside of the studio. Supporting the community to find ways to live the life they want to, with grace, ease and kindness is a big part of why I teach yoga.

HOW CAN WE FIND YOU ON SOCIAL?

About Morgane

Morgane is excited and grateful to be sharing the love of yoga. She discovered yoga 15 years ago, as part of various physical development techniques in her acting career and training. Over time, her daily personal practice became non-negotiable. She saw first-hand how the practice expanded beyond the physical. Naturally, she became a yoga teacher!

Morgane trained under Arian Levanael, Elisha Young, Mel Mclaughlin, Rachael Coopes, amongst others. She qualified in Vinyasa, Yin , MFR and Kids yoga and is also sharing the practice of mantra and Bhakti Yoga as a door to stillness under the mentoring of Nadav Khan. Morgane loves teaching both the yin and yang practice for a complete experience. She believes this is crucial for developing a sense of equanimity for the body, mind and soul off the mat. Her classes are fun, engaging, at times challenging and sprinkled with philosophical contemplations, singing, and hands on assists.

Morgane believes that yoga on the mat is a precious time we dedicate to and for ourselves. It is a time where she can assist her students make discoveries. To remind them that it is not about the pose but what happens on the way there. To equip them to use the practice off the mat, in their daily lives - where the real yoga happens - living a mindful life anchored in gratitude using the asana and going beyond.

Morgane continues to learn and further her knowledge of the practice, mentored by her teachers. She believes we are never too young or too old to start and discover this full spectrum practice which, even in its most challenging form, is forever rewarding and quite simply, life changing.
