This Is Yoga Concession Passes
To us, This Is Yoga is more than just studios to practice in, it's a community. We'd like to recognise the incredible work so many in our wider community do by giving them a discount through our Concession pricing program. All of these working people serve others, and most of these are stressful and physically demanding jobs. We believe it's clear that regular yoga practice helps with physical and mental well-being. Unfortunately, many of these professions aren't highly paid, so we'd love to make yoga more accessible to them.
There’s also a personal reason behind all of this, from This Is Yoga's owner Craig:
My parents were teachers and uni lecturers. When they got older, they moved into aged care where they were looked after wonderfully well. I’ve lost them both in the last 3 years – my Dad loved a discount, so he would have loved this. Then, in 2018 my wife’s life was saved by police and ambulance officers, together with members of the public, who performed CPR on her for 40 minutes until she reached hospital, where an amazing team looked after her for 10 weeks before she returned home. Since then, she’s been getting a lot of support from medical and community workers. This is one tiny way for me to recognise all of the people who work so hard helping others in the community. Finally with students – that’s just because I felt like I never had any money when I studied down the road at UNSW, and I'm sure that hasn't changed much.

Who’s eligible?
Anyone who works in:
- Hospitals
- Schools and Universities
- Community work
- Aged Care Services
- Emergency Services (Ambulance, Police, Fire, SES, Bushfire Brigade)
As well as Students at a recognised institution, Carers or people with a Health Care Card.

Just bring your ID into the studio, and we’ll sort you out with a concession rate.
