NEW TO YOGA or pilates?

  • For your first class, come 10—15 minutes early so you can settle in to the space and ask any questions of your teacher.

Bring a change of clothing and a towel for a shower if you wish, or you can rent one at the studio.

For Reformer Pilates you need to wear grip socks which you can purchase from the front desk.

  • If you’re new to yoga or it’s been some time since you practiced regularly, we recommend starting with our Foundations class. These classes run at a slower and cooler pace focused on teaching foundations of yoga with lots of guidance and feedback.

This is great for people new to yoga and anyone looking to improve their practice - no less of a challenge and a great first base to jump into a regular practice from.

Yin classes are also suitable for beginners. However, if you’re fit and healthy and new to yoga you can jump into an open class and just do your best, keep an open mind and sense of adventure.

Pilates Reformer requires familiarity with the equipment, we recommend you start with Beginner classes if you haven't done reformer before. There are also Open Level classes you can join with modifications as required, your teacher will guide you.

Mat Pilates is suitable for all levels.
