Meet HARRIET BENJAMIN: Yoga Teacher at This Is Yoga

What was your inspiration for becoming a yoga teacher?

I was drawn to Yoga several years ago with my passionate belief that the simple practice of cultivating mindful, focused awareness, movement and breath can help anybody lead a calmer, more balanced life. I was on the journey of discovering a more meaningful way of living when I decided to complete my  teacher training to share the practice and knowledge with others.‘The spiritual, mental and physical practice of Yoga has forever changed my life. I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to be a facilitator and guide of this sacred practice.’

About HARRIET:

Harriet specialises in vinyasa and yin. You can expect a juicy and intelligently sequenced flow that explores a dynamic range of movement. Harriets teaching style is steady but strong, thoughtfully designed to increase our ability to move functionally with an emphasis on shifting our focus inward during a state of flow, reconnecting with ourselves amongst the constant chaos of our lives, finding a sense of stillness and peace. Harriet loves being creative, inspiring students to activate their bodies in ways they may have never thought of. She’s inspired by creating synergy between physical movement, our breath and minds.
