Meet BETH BOROWSKY: SENIOR Teacher at This Is Yoga

What was your inspiration for becoming a yoga teacher?

To share the Beauty of what happens when you journey into your body with strength, wisdom and integrity, and use your breath to become intimately connected to every part of yourself – Body, Mind, Heart, Soul and Spirit.

Your favourite yoga pose if you have one?

I’d have to say Dolphin – and all it’s variations. It’s a game changer.

What do you enjoy most about teaching?

I love co-creating a sacred space in which students can jump on their wind horse - their Breath - and go on a journey of self discovery - to create Strength, Integrity & build the most potent relationship of their life ... with their Spirit.

How can we find you on social?

About BETH:

With over 1200 hours of accredited teacher training hours, and heading into her 18th year of teaching, Beth’s classes are Forrest Yoga inspired intelligently sequenced to ensure that you move at a slower pace, giving time for your muscles to heat, energy to build and an opportunity to delve deeper within - both physically and emotionally - and so discover the true medicine that is yoga.

Working from the premise there is always something you can do, you’ll be invited into Yoga Ceremony, and be reminded to honour your body – its strengths and weaknesses – to prevent injury and build stamina, balance and inner calm.

You’ll be encouraged to synchronise your breath with movement, and to cultivate a moving meditation creating a delicious synchronicity between Body, Mind, Spirit and Soul.

One of Beth’s passions is to gift you with the delicious-ness of learning to practice with a relaxed neck, cultivating deeper intelligence and communication between your brain and body and releasing areas of habitual tension.

As the owner of JustBreatheYoga, she is loved and respected for the Beauty-full Retreats that she runs annually near Sydney and in Bali.

She hopes that the wisdom you gather on the mat allows you to Walk in Beauty and With Love.

Beth is a former yoga teacher trainer with Body Mind Life and has assisted Ana Forrest and other senior Forrest Yoga Guardian teacher trainers in workshops and teacher trainings both in Australia and internationally. She is passionate about working privately and with trauma-sensitive students.

She founded The Karma Class, a company on a mission to make health and wellbeing a priority in early childhood and primary classrooms, and has developed an accredited Professional Development program for teachers and published 2 sets of activity cards – Karma Classroom Cards and Karma Home Cards.
